The University of Minnesota is partnering with Fairview Health Services to build a new $182.5 million outpatient care center. The new University of Minnesota facility is expected to be complete by early 2016 at the latest. One of the economic benefits of this new partnership is that University of Minnesota faculty physicians will also be able to share directly in the revenue of the center.

The University of Georgia, Athens will receive $44.7 million for the construction of a new UGA building, the Science Learning Center. The 122,500-square-foot facility will add 33 teaching labs to the South campus for the chemistry, biological sciences, plant biology and physics departments.

A new Eye Center Clinical Facility at Duke University is currently under construction. The new facility at Duke will house expanded clinical services designed to improve patient care and convenience. The 127,000 square-foot building is expected to be complete in mid 2015 and was made possible by a $12 million donation.
