Georgetown Researchers Spend Millions in Annual Biotech Dollars

Georgetown University Medical Center is a leading research institution with over $100 million in annual research funding and R&D expenditures. Various research facilities at Georgetown University, including the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, are home to more than 400 scientists, educators, and life science professionals.

Georgetown University and its associated facilities receive hundreds of millions of dollars annually in grants, awards and donations from the NIH, NSF, and other private and public donors. A significant portion of this funding is earmarked for biotechnology and lab supplies that help researchers further their important work every day.
