Posted on Nov 20, 2014 1:29:47 PM

TSRI Seminar

The development of digital immunofluorescence methods and novel pattern recognition algorithms has ushered in a new era of antibody analysis, overcoming such shortcomings as human bias and laborious data management. This seminar describes a decade of basic research toward the development of an automated immunofluorescence reading and interpretation system. It will include discussion of microscope hardware and basic fluorescence via image capturing and focusing methods to automated evaluation of immunofluorescence images and image processing techniques.  There will also be an overview of existing image processing techniques for immunofluorescence reading and perspectives on future developments.
