Cutting Edge Human Disease Modeling Using the NSG™ Mouse

Posted on Aug 3, 2015 3:50:00 AM

Webinar - Online

The immune deficient NOD scid gamma (NSG™) mouse strain enables human disease research that was previously impossible. In this seminar, we will explain how NSG™ mice increase the efficiency and sophistication of mouse models of human disease in many critically important therapeutic areas. Join us as we discuss using NSG™ mice in the following ways:
• Create in vivo models which support the growth and integrity of the widest range of human cells and tissues
• Conduct advanced preclinical testing using the JAX® Patient-Derived Xenograft (PDX) resource of solid and hematological cancers
• Perform the most efficient and reliable engraftment of human hematopoietic cells to date (“humanization”)
• Provide a platform for novel transgenic and gene targeted mouse strains that further supports the growth and function of human tissues in vivo
