Trade show marketing events provide great brand exposure in the academic marketplace, however, many times the sales reps present at the events only receive praise based on the amount of quality leads obtained at the events. At Biotechnology Calendar, Inc. events, sales representatives are recognized for their suburb salesmanship, attitude, and presence throughout each event.

Biotechnology Calendar, Inc. selects a sales representative who stood out and came to the event prepared to exhibit, engaged with attendees in a friendly and interested manner and showed remarkable salesmanship skills in working to meet researchers and market life science products. Whoever is chosen wins the coveted 5-Star Award.

To be considered for this award, a sales professional must represent the 5 points of the S.T.A.R.S.

5 Star  Strong and professional presence throughout the event. Arrive on time, set-up before the event, and stay until the end.

5 Star  Table display is appealing and informative, and provides researchers with an incentive to visit (i.e. swag items to give away or company brochures).

5 Star  Accessible and engaged staff focused on talking with researchers instead of checking their phones and computers.

5 Star  Researchers who visit the booth engage well with the sales rep, and the tables appears to be a popular place for researchers to visit.

5 Star  Sales rep is professional and well represents both their company and the event.

Each 5-Star Winner receives a letter, a certificate, and a link to their company's website on our winners page. Five Star Winners can brag to their colleagues, supervisors, family and friends about their outstanding work at the life science marketing event at which they exhibited. Their award is proof of their exceptional salesmanship. At the end of the year, all 5-Star winners are entered into a drawing to win one overall, final award.
