The new $126 million Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Chemistry Building (CBEC) at Ohio State University is now open.

The new building, located at the heart of the science and engineering portion of the campus, will allow researchers to focus on the following fields:
- Nano/bioscience and technology
- Energy-related materials
- Energy and environment
- Theory, modeling, and simulations
