Posted by Robert Larkin on Wed, Mar 11, 2015

NIHaerialEvery year, over $30 billion in research funding is distributed by the National Institutes of Health to medical institutions, universities and learning centers around the globe.

Below are listed the top 20 NIH-funded medical research institutions for fiscal year 2014, and the amount of NIH funding they each received.

Each of these institutions is responsible for groundbreaking research conducted every day. Life science researchers, educators and scientists at these universities are in need of the latest and best in biotechnology and lab consumables, and have the funding to afford it.

Where applicable, there are also links included to Biotechnology Calendar, Inc.’s tradeshow events, where lab vendors can network and promote their products to prominent and active researchers at several of these top-funded universities.
