Workshop - Bar Harbor, Maine, US
As the use of embryo cryopreservation for archiving and distributing strains of mice grows, so does the need for training in methods to handle and recover embryos. This workshop involves active participation and will help facilitate the adoption of a very efficient approach for importing mouse strains. Experienced technicians from the Cryopreservation lab at the Jackson Laboratory will teach these skills over a three day period. These technicians each perform 60-100 embryo transfers every week. This workshop is offered as a supplemental session to the Cryopreservation Workshop, but may be taken separately.
