The first Ohio State University-India Health Sciences Innovation Conference and Trade Show will be held at The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai, India on January 15 - 18, 2015. The focus of the conference will be India's rapidly growing health and hospital system, biotech and health sciences industry with the goal of developing strategic partnerships between The Ohio State University, Indian healthcare, academic institutions and health sciences related industries. The All India Institute for Medical Sciences (AIIMS), the country's top public health care and research institution, has partnered with Ohio State University in hosting this conference. The U.S. Embassy in India, U.S. Department of Commerce, Select USA, American Consulate General in Mumbai and multiple Indian governmental agencies, including the Embassy of India in DC are engaged with the conference. The Office of the U.S. Ambassador to India and U.S. Embassy in India are working with us to set up an opening reception for attendees.
The event will showcase the top health sciences industry, healthcare organizations, US and Indian government agencies and academic institutions in an interactive forum to promote collaboration and trade opportunities. A trade show hall, coupled with product and informational/educational sessions will provide the event forum.
