Life science researchers in St. Louis are invited to attend the upcoming 16th Annual BioResearch Product Faire™ Event at Washington University on March 20, 2015. This event gives you the opportunity to meet with sales reps from a wide variety of lab supply companies to discover new products that will benefit your labs and research. Take a break from your research and come out to the event to see what is new in the world of life science supplies, get your questions answered, and learn about new options available.
Learn About What's New in the World of Life Science Equipment and Supplies
This event is a great opportunity to meet face-to-face with sales reps in a fun and friendly environment. Instead of knocking on your lab door and interrupting your work, sales reps from a variety of different companies will be in one room, available for you to speak with on your own time. You'll be able to:
- Discover new products to use in your labs.
- Learn about new companies, brands, and supplies.
- Compare different science tools and companies.
- Express product concerns and ask questions.
- Get samples.
Network with Other Researchers from Your Institution
Meet with other Washington University researchers from different departments to learn about their lab projects. Last year, nearly 370 researchers attended the event from 33 buildings and 39 different on-campus departments. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow researchers, learn about their work, and make new connections.
Take a Break From Your Normal Routine
Attendees at the event not only have the opportunity to find new supplies, but they also have the chance to win door prizes and giveaway items. Everyone who attends will be eligible to enter for the chance to win an iPad Mini, and the first researchers to arrive will be able to get a popular Science Ninja t-shirt. Other small goodies will also be given away like pens and magnets.
There will also be a full, complementary lunch buffet available throughout the event. Enjoy a sandwich, pizza, bagels, fruit, some lemonade or tea, and a sweet treat as you peruse the new lab supplies available. Food will be available from start to finish, 10:00am - 2:30pm.
