FASEB SRC: Arf and Rab Family G Proteins

Meeting - Snowmass Village, CO, United States

The 2013 FASEB SRC on Arf and Rab family G proteins is an important and unique scientific conference in which the functions of ARF/Rab proteins in membrane trafficking and organelle biogenesis will be explored within the context of complex events such as cell polarity, adhesion, motility and division, neuronal development and synaptic transmission, tissue morphogenesis and infectious disease. The format will include formal talks, poster sessions, and intensive scientific discussion.

This SRC aims to highlight timely and important advances in the field, as well as to define outstanding questions and ways to tackle them. The underlying theme for this conference is “ARFs/Rabs as homeostatic regulators and their subversion in disease. The list of speakers includes outstanding researchers from around the world presenting cutting edge research directed towards a fundamental understanding of how Arf/Rab proteins regulate cellular and organismal physiology.
