14th International Symposium on Microbial Ecology, ISME14

Symposium - Copenhagen, Denmark

After a well-attended ISME13, we strive to make our next symposium, which is held biennially, an even bigger success. The 14th International Symposium on Microbial Ecology, ISME14, will take place in wonderful Copenhagen, Denmark, from 19-24 August 2012.

We are planning a spectacular scientific program, based on the theme ‘the power of the small’. Confirmed plenary presenters are Martin Ackermann, Nicole Dubilier, Janet Jansson, Víctor de Lorenzo, Minik Rosing, Michael Wagner and Liping Zhao.

The venue, the eco-labelled Bella Center, one of Scandinavia’s largest conference centers, is only a few minutes away from Copenhagen’s city center, known for its historic castles, Tivoli gardens, Little Mermaid statue, lively bicycle traffic and delicious pastries! A city in which historic architecture meets modern design, in which the harbour water is clear enough to allow a swim on a sunny day, and in which environmental initiatives are stimulated to create a greener Copenhagen.

We invite you as an integral part of this stimulating symposium and we are looking forward to welcome you to Copenhagen.
