The conference will be 2013’s most important showcase event for developments in medical physics and biomedical engineering. It will bring together scientists, engineers, technologists, educators and managers from these sectors to consider how the latest research, technology and innovation can be applied to healthcare challenges worldwide.
The conference theme is 'New horizons – global and scientific', with a focus on novel medical devices, medical imaging and diagnostic techniques, cancer treatment and technologies, radiation protection and dose reduction methods, and rehabilitation and assisted living technologies.
