In collaboration with SDCSB, the NIAID-funded FluOMICS and FluDyNeMo Programs are pleased to announce that registration and poster abstract submission for the 1st Annual Systems Biology and Host-Pathogen Interactions Symposium is now available online at (www.SDCSB.org). Participation is FREE, but registration is required for all attendees. A limited number of travel grants will also be awarded.
The Symposium is scheduled to take place as a day-long event on Wednesday, January 7th, 2015 at The Salk Institute for Biological Sciences in La Jolla, California. Our stellar speaker lineup includes Elke Mühlberger (Boston University), Elizabeth Winzeler (UCSD), Alan Aderem (Seattle BioMed), Rafick-Pierre Sékaly (VGTI Florida), John Schoggins (UT Southwestern), Amalio Telenti (JCVI), Raul Andino (UCSF) and Ralph Baric (UNC). The talks will be followed by a Poster Session & Reception. We encourage abstract submission for posters, four authors will be selected to speak about their work at the symposium. Abstracts must include 1) title, up to 150 characters including spaces; 2) author's full name and affiliation; and 3) text only abstract, limit of 250 words. Deadline to submit abstracts is December 12, 2014.
