Conference - Khon Kaen, Thailand
FerVAAP Conference was first organized in March 2005 by Department of Biotechnology together with Fermentation Research Center for Value Added Agricultural Products in Khon Kaen University, Thailand. The Conference was initially concentrated on the topics involving fermentation of foods, beverages and energy. Since then, the topics have expanded to cover other areas of biotechnology as well.
The Conference has been scheduled to be held every 2 years. The past conferences attracted the participants from academics and industries both in Thailand and overseas.
Following the successes of the previous Conferences, the 5th FerVAAP Conference will be held to continue its contribution to the advances and innovations in fermentation technology. The Conference aims to present the current status and recent advances in fermentation technology, with the emphasis on the food and beverages, biopolymers and bioenergy as well as other innovative processes and products.
