Cyprus has a tradition in genetics. In fact, genetics was the first discipline of the biomedical sciences which took off at the research level in Cyprus. The first activities date back in the late eighties when human genetics was showing promise worldwide and the identification of diseased genes was the major breakthrough.
Our conference program has been prepared in such a way to cover a wide range of aspects of human genetics. Moreover, our invited speakers are international authorities in their fields. All around, an exciting program!
