British Hypertension Society Annual Scientific Meeting
Scientific Conference - Queens’ College Cambridge, UK
The programme includes presentations by invited speakers on a broad range of
topics including sleep and cardiovascular disease, blood pressure variability and
cardiovascular imaging in the hypertensive patient. In addition, the meeting will
commence on Monday afternoon with a session dedicated to the NICE
Hypertension Guidelines, which will have been launched only one month before
the conference. The Sir George Pickering Lecture will be given by one of the
Society’s founding member. The programme will also feature interesting and unusual clinical cases, a debate on the
use of experimental models in hypertension research, an update on the latest
news from clinical trials and parallel nurse sessions. The remainder of the
programme will consist of oral and poster presentations based on submitted
abstracts.
