The Australian Society for Microbiology Annual Scientific Meeting is Australia's largest and most prestigious microbiological conference, bringing together researchers, clinicians, and other industry professionals. ASM2012 will showcase the importance of microbiology to our world through presentations delivered by national and international leaders in their disciplines.

ASM2012 will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Situated in the cultural and dining precinct of South Bank, the conference venue is within easy walking distance of the Brisbane River and the CBD. The beaches of The Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast are also a short drive.
