Advances in Cancer Drug Discovery
Conference - Cambridge, United Kingdom
Cancer Drug discovery is now firmly in the era of molecularly-targeted agents. This approach builds on advances in our understanding of the molecular biology of tumours coupled with the application of modern approaches to drug discovery. One of the key features, which is clearly apparent as this approach matures, is the importance of a holistic understanding with molecular biologists, medicinal chemists and clinicians collaborating closely and providing feedback to enable the challenges of cancer drug discovery to be overcome. This complete picture of the cancer drug discovery effort is a key feature of this conference.
