Keystone Symposia: Chromatin Mechanisms and Cell Physiology

Posted on Mar 17, 2014 11:09:00 AM

(C5) Keystone Symposia: Chromatin Mechanisms and Cell Physiology

Conference - Oberstdorf, Germany

 The conference will:
• Focus on four fundamental chromatin processes (RNA regulation, transcription and remodeling, DNA damage and repair, DNA replication) in conjunction with normal and perturbed cellular states (cell fate, signal response, cell transformation, epigenetic inheritance);
• Explore dynamic regulation and mis-regulation of chromatin-based processes in medically relevant research fields including those relating to complex human disorders and stem cell therapy;
• Generate interesting synergies and a strong bridge connecting basic chromatin research with cellular physiology.

Session Topics:
• Chromatin Modifications
• Cell Fate
• Transcription and Chromatin Remodeling
• Signal Response
RNA Regulation
• Cell Transformation
• Chromatin Organization
• Epigenetic Inheritance
plus a panel on “Epigenetic Inheritance” and a workshop on “Epigenetic Therapy/Inhibitors”

Organization: Keystone Symposia on Molecular and Cellular Biology
