The conference will:
• Gather hematologists, cardiologists, cell biologists, pharmacologists and coagulation/platelet experts for an in-depth examination of the mechanisms of thrombosis;
• Understand how fundamental mechanisms regulating vascular disease modulate coagulation and explore how these processes influence
platelet-dependent thrombosis and vessel wall interactions;
• Encourage a broader consideration of the complex interactions between thrombosis and coagulation and of the whole system including immunity and inflammation, with the goal of developing better future clinical solutions.
