Vaccination: an evolutionary engine for species?

The purpose of this seminar is to bring together experts and interested individuals from various disciplines to:

Explore through examples, the fundamental mechanisms of pathogens evolution as a result of selective pressure in a vaccinated world.

Discuss designs and methodologies for epidemiological studies or models in vaccine development and in surveillance of vaccine programs-induced pathogens adaptation.

Discuss contingency plans to avoid issues for human health and recommendations for immunization programs (e.g. Animal flu vaccination).
