The Assembly and Function of Neuronal Circuits

Meeting - Ascona, Switzerland

One of the key goals in Neuroscience is to understand brain function and ultimately the human mind at the level of defined neuronal circuits. The Ascona Meetings on Neuronal Circuits have been a leading forum on neuronal circuit research worldwide for more than a decade.

The 2013-Meeting will focus on research relating the assembly and architecture of dedicated neuronal circuits to their function. It will cover topics ranging from the assembly of defined circuits by specific neurons, the functioning, information coding and plasticity of circuits in the developing and adult brain, through to the behavioral functions that they sub-serve, as well as computational approaches to circuit modeling.
