(B5) Keystone Symposia: Long Noncoding RNAs - Marching toward Mechanism

Conference - Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States

The conference will:
• Stimulate scientific conversations and collaborations among scientists who work on diverse noncoding RNAs;
• Aim to break down four traditional silos in the field: (1) bacterial vs. eukaryotic systems; (2) biological vs. biophysical vs. computational approaches; (3) basic science vs. translational and industrial research and development; and (4) American vs. European scientists;
• Pollinate fields previously not focused on long noncoding RNAs and catalyze the translation of basic science knowledge into medical applications by bringing together academic scientists with those from biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.

Session Topics:
• Epigenetics and ncRNAs
• ncRNAs and Transcriptional Control
• Bacterial ncRNAs
• Riboswitches and CRISPR
RNA Methods, Diagnostics and Therapeutics
• Catalytic RNAs and RNPs
• Genome-Wide Analysis
• Long ncRNAs and Chromatin
plus workshops on late-breaking topics
