Bioinformatics for Systems Biology - a course in network biology using Cytoscape

Online Course - University of Manchester, United Kingdom

This online course will provide an introduction to the datatypes and modelling methods for network biology. It will cover :

- the use of models in biology;
- structure and use of public pathway and interaction databases;
- reconstruction of biological networks from experimental data;
- network statistics;
- interpretation of experimental data in the network context;
- advanced topics.

The course could be taken as an individual short course, for professional development, or the credits could count towards our Masters programme in Digital Biology.
