Stratified Medicine: Discovery to Patient – Mind the Gap

Posted on Nov 17, 2014 8:29:28 AM

Conference - London, United Kingdom

Major scientific advances in biomedicine are transforming both the development and delivery of new medicines and will fundamentally change the healthcare system. Stratification of medicines brings the concept of ‘right patient, right medicine, right now’ to reality.
Stratified medicines, enabled by open innovation, genomics and big data, all present great opportunities to transform the availability of new medicines to patients.
The 2014 ABPI R&D Conference focuses on the latest issues in the discovery and development of medicines and will seek to explore how in the new eco-system the traditional demarcation line between the R&D and commercial environments is challenged.
This conference is a must for those involved in the research, development and use of medicines. Hear from a wide range of cross-sector stakeholders from academia, the NHS and industry to discuss the opportunities and challenges that the new science of stratified medicine presents.
