Conference - Big Sky, MT, United States

This 2014 FASEB Science Research Conference will focus on the basic biophysical and structural principles underlying the structure and function of membranes and membrane proteins.Topics that will be represented at the 2014 meeting include interfacially active peptides, membrane fusion, membrane proteases and their products in disease, membrane protein structure, function and folding. This year’s meeting will also include sessions that focus on membrane biotechnology and bioinformatics.

A principal objective of this meeting is to stimulate cross-pollination of ideas amongst a diverse group of membrane biophysicists, as well as cell biologists, biochemists, as well as structural and computational biologists by bringing them together in an intimate setting to share the latest developments in their fields and in related fields. Furthermore, by involving junior faculty as well as established faculty, and by selecting multiple short oral presentations from the submitted abstracts, we expose junior researchers to the group and allow them to share their insights.
