This laboratory-based course is aimed primarily at young researchers in all fields of Life Sciences, including Medicine. It provides both a theoretical and experimental framework for further studies and research. It will enable you to gain experience in a range of laboratory techniques including analysis of mammalian cells, transient overexpression of cellular proteins and examining subcellular localisation by immunofluorescent microscopy and other methods. The course runs for three days and is based in the UCL Cruciform labs, central London, where a dedicated team of technicians will be on hand to help you with the experiments.
