Posted by BCI Staff on Thu, Oct 13, 2011

UCSF, Mission Bay currently has over $1 Billion in construction projects underway, making it the largest ongoing biomedical building in the world and is one of the top NIH funded universities in the nation.  Currently the school receives more federal funding than any other public university and is third overall among public and private institutions.

Because of the competitive nature of life science research at UCSF and other top  universities, researchers are constantly seeking better, faster, and more productive ways to answer their research questions so that their work can move more quickly though the experimental research stages, to the more practical clinical research phase.

The UCSF based Biotechnology Vendor Showcase™ Event,  coming up on January 26th, provides an excellent forum for active researchers to view new science tools and research products. In the past, attendees seeking new lab products included UCSF researchers from:

  • Biophysics
  • Biochemistry & Molecular Biology
  • Bioengineering
  • Chemistry
  • Cardiovascular Research
  • Neurology
  • Neurosurgery
  • Pharmacology

For suppliers of laboratory equipment, please note that new and improved laboratory products are actively in demand at the UCSF Campus.  The most often logged requests for the Mission Bay Campus include:

  • Antibodies and related products.
  • Flow Cytometry Equipment and Reagents
  • Microscopy
  • DNA Synthesis and Equipment.

San Francisco science researchers and laboratory supply companies are encouraged to attend to view the latest products and to network with other San Francisco science researchers at the upcoming Biotechnology Vendor Showcase™ Event at UCSF, Missions Bay on January 26th.  Find out more about exhibiting or attending by calling us, visiting our website, or clicking the button below:
