The 3rd Heidelberg Forum for Young Life Scientists
Symposium - Heidelberg, Germany
The Heidelberg Forum for Young Life Scientists is an international, inter-institutional and interdisciplinary symposium organized by a group of PhD students from the following research institutes in Heidelberg: Heidelberg University Biochemistry Center (BZH), the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), the Max Plank Institute for Medical Research (MPI), the Hartmut Hoffmann-Berling International Graduate School of Molecular and Cellular Biology (HBIGS), Cell Networks, and the Center for Molecular Biology Heidelberg (ZMBH).
This year, the 3rd Heidelberg Forum for Young Life Scientists will take place at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg, Germany on June 6th and 7th 2013. Our exciting program will focus on four main aspects of novel biomedical and biological research topics, namely Biotechnology, OMICs, Infections and Immunity, as well as Stem Cell Biology. Beside lectures given by prominent keynote speakers and young group leaders, the 2013 conference two-day program will provide PhD students with the chance to give oral and poster presentations, which will be selected on the basis of the submitted abstracts. Furthermore, the program will include a number of workshops presenting cutting-edge research tools. In addition, get-together events will provide an opportunity to further communicate with the speakers and build social and/or professional networks with other participants.
