The transfer and commercialization of the technology has demonstrable benefits for economic growth. There’s an increasing demand for skilled facilitators who can introduce the innovative scientific discoveries into the dynamic markets.
Therefore, we are pleased to announce that a new Cold Spring Harbor Asia Summer School program on Technology Transfer and Commercialization has been developed and will be held in Dushu Lake Conference Center, Suzhou, China.
This summer school is purposely designed for:
-Technology transfer or technology management staff in universities and institutions;
-Government agencies or leaders who manage economic development (local or national);
-Commercial entities, including pharmaceutical companies, who may be active in seeking to in-license new technologies;
-Law firms who handle intellectual property matters;
-Investors and entrepreneurs who have interests in licensing technologies from academic institutions;
-Scientist and faculty who want to see their newly discovered technologies commercialized;
-Anyone who wants to learn about Technology Transfer and Licensing.
