2nd Middle East Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare
Conference - Doha, Qatar
The 2014 Middle East Forum is the result of the continued successful collaboration between the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and Hamad Medical Corporation's Quality and Safety teams.
This year's theme is all about empowering healthcare professionals to learn about the science of improvement and how to implement the safest and best healthcare practices to benefit patients.
At this year's Middle East Forum on Quality Improvement in Healthcare, participants will learn about tools and methodologies that have delivered results in other organizations. Attendees will have the opportunity to dialog with international healthcare experts to discuss how these tools can be adapted to local requirements. The Middle East Forum is ideal for practicing physicians, nurses, quality leaders, health care administrators, executives, patient and family advisors, and students training to be health professionals. All participants will gain new insights into how the science of improvement can inspire and transform healthcare practices.
This year's event will feature a quality improvement storyboard exhibition and competition designed to showcase regional organizations' improvement journeys. It will demonstrate the approaches, results, challenges, and lessons learned by sharing the culturally unique healthcare experiences gained by other professionals in the Middle East.
