Over the last couple of decades nanotechnology and its applications have witnessed unprecedented growth. Researchers and industrialists expect that breakthrough in nanomaterials and nanotechnology will change all aspects of human life in such diverse areas as, electronic devices, energy, biomedicine, sensing, environment and security etc. In this context, ICNN-2014 aims to provide an excellent opportunity to the scientists, engineers, industrialists, students and other professionals engage in research discussions, exchange new ideas and application to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration. In particular, latest international trends in the application of nanotechnology in energy harvesting, environment, agriculture, textile, disease diagnosis and treatment, drug delivery etc. will be addressed. We believe that ICNN-2014 will be an excellent forum to establish academia-industry linkages on industrial applications of nanotechnology. Certainly, ICNN-2014 will motivate our next generation to develop their professional skills in nanomaterials and technology and offer information about current funding opportunities, new research interests, safety issues in nanotechnology and research ethics and professional development.
