7th Neurodegenerative Conditions Research & Development

Conference - Boston, MA, USA

It is our pleasure to invite you to join us at the 7th Neurodegenerative Conditions Research & Development Conference on September 9-10, 2013 in Boston, MA to discuss the current state of the field and look towards the future of neuroscience research.

The drug discovery effort for neurodegenerative diseases has been one of the major challenges and focuses of the pharmaceutical industry. Despite the unmet and growing need for groundbreaking treatments, clinical trials for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases have been failing over the past few years. However, there has still been great progress in the development of novel therapeutic approaches and targets to treat AD, PD, and other neurodegenerative diseases.

This meeting will bring together the leading researchers in the field to discuss topics such as biomarkers, the growing use of tau as a target, the role of non-profit groups in accelerating research, and many more.

An overview of the agenda:
I. Novel Therapeutic Targets and Approaches in Alzheimer's Disease
II. Novel Therapeutic Targets and Approaches in Parkinson's Disease
III. Novel Therapeutic Targets and Approaches in Neurodegenerative Conditions
IV. Biomarkers: Translation from Discovery to Clinical
V. Panel: The Role of Foundations and Patient Groups in Research

This conference is a part of the larger CNS Diseases World Summit 2013, which also includes the 6th CNS Partnering and Deal Making Conference.
