HACCP Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points is a management system in which product safety is addressed through the analysis and control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards from raw material production, procurement and handling, to manufacturing, distribution and consumption of the finished product. HACCP has been increasingly applied to industries such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, foods, beverages, and medical devices to insure the quality and safety of the products produced. It is an important aspect of manufacturing in the modern world particularly in these industries to ensure a maximum level of quality and product safety.
