Conference - Grand Rapids, United States

Grand Challenges in Parkinson’s Disease: The Role of Alpha-Synuclein brings together hundreds of scientists, clinicians, people with Parkinson’s and caregivers to explore the latest in Parkinson’s disease research.
This year’s theme focuses on the role of alpha-synuclein in Parkinson’s—its function, its pathobiology, how it spreads and how studying it may lead to new biomarkers and therapies. Grand Challenges features scientific presentations from 20 of the world’s leading experts on alpha-synuclein, along with poster and DataBlitz presentations.
For the second year, VARI and The Cure Parkinson’s Trust will host Rallying to the Challenge, a meeting for people with Parkinson’s, advocates and caregivers that explores how the Parkinson’s community can impact and accelerate research.
Organization: Van Andel Research Institute

Wed, Sep 30, 2015 - Thu, Oct 01, 2015
