The Scientific Board is pleased to announce the very 1st Meeting of the Fertility Control Club (FCC)- Hormonal contraception methods: From basic research to clinical practice, taking place February 19-21, 2015 in Barcelona, Spain.
The focus of the 1st Meeting of the FCC is hormonal contraception and new molecular agents. The aim is to create a forum of international experts and opinion leaders from around the world in order to address the myths & misconceptions about the role of estrogen and progesterone in the formulation of contraception.
The debates and sessions will be comprehensive and yet to the point on updated new epidemiological, clinical and pharmacological data as well as new delivery systems. The new and factual correct information will address pitfalls related to the outdated "2nd-4th generation” nomenclature. Experts in their fields will create interactive platforms tackling the difficult discussions on clinical recommendations. For health care providers working in primary and secondary care the discussions with leading experts & colleagues will ensure a unique competence in hormonal contraception guidance. The meeting will address all needs from menarche to menopause with special reference also to the recent recommendations from medical agencies in Europe and US.
