The University of South Florida in Tampa is undergoing $153 million expansion project and sees millions of dollars in grants and awards coming from both private and public donors each year. Most recent stats show USF  recieved $63.2 million in funding from NIH

 $28 million of this going to the departments of Medicine and Internal Medicine,

Physiology -$4.2 million,

Biochemistry - $4.2 million.

Construction on the new school of medicine campus has begun, and is expected to be completed in 2019. This will provide even more space and resources to USF life scientists.

In 2016 USF got $63.2 million in funding from NIH with $28 million of this going to the departments of Medicine and Internal Medicine, Physiology - $4.2 million, Biochemistry - $4.2 million. With this funding, researchers at the University of South Florida have the means to purchase many new lab products that will assist in their research and clinical trials.
