UCLA: Ranked 9th in the Nation for Life Science Research Funding

- 2014 Life Science R & D Expenditures: $674,218,000.

- A $50M philanthropic gift was awarded to UCLA to support the five-year, $4.2 billion fund raising Centennial Campaign to advance medicine and health, through laboratory research and clinical applications.

- A $10M donation will support UCLA research on the genetics behind migraine disorders.
