Shekhar was chosen as the 5-Star Winner at our recent UCSD Biotechnology Vendor Showcase™ event due to the electric enthusiasm he exuded while sharing information with attending researchers. He knew it was not enough to have a stellar display and put his energetic and outgoing personality to work. Having previously been an academic researcher himself, Shekhar utilized his expertise in cell culture and immunology to seamlessly transition into the role of Technical Specialist with Irvine Scientific in April 2015. He is now part of the newest division of Cell Therapy within the company.
Providing scientific technical support to life science researchers has become a passion for Shekhar, and he looks forward to a career of serving those who are actively developing cellular therapies for a broad spectrum of known diseases.
When Shekhar is not imparting his wisdom of cell culture to his clients and prospective customers, he enjoys running, snorkeling, and reading. We are proud to award Shekhar with the 5-Star Winner title as he is truly an inspiration to up-and-coming lab supply representatives everywhere and does, indeed, shine.
