Columbia University is a world front runner in medicine, science, and technology.  Columbia University’s Precision Medicine initiative connects its intellectual resources of its faculty to diagnose, prevent, and treat individuals based on variations in genes, environment, and lifestyle.  This type of processes will deliver custom-made medical care.  Columbia is part of the NIH award of $55M helping to build a million-person precision medicine study.  The Columbia University Medical Center will engage patients and ensure that participants represent diversity within our country.
