EBI-Wellcome Trust Summer School in Bioinformatics
Workshop - Hinxton, United Kingdom
This popular Summer School is aimed at early-stage researchers who are embarking upon bioinformatics-based projects with little or no experience in computational biology. The programme will provide practical training in bioinformatics in the context of biological research and its theory, using widely-available software packages and data resources to focus on fundamental concepts underpinning the topics of sequence searching, alignment, phylogenetics, functional genomics, interactions and pathways. To optimise the hands-on training, places are limited to 35. Please note that the course will not cover aspects of computer programming and you should look at our other specialist courses if you want specific help with your current research project.
