The aim of this meeting is that immunologists and geriatricians better understand how to recognise, treat and prevent infections in the elderly. Since infection is the commonest cause of preventable death in the older person, this meeting is specifically designed to front-line clinical staff (as well as researchers) cutting-edge new information about this vitally important area of clinical practice.
