Advanced workshop: QEEG, Sleep and Personalized Medicine

Workshop - Netherlands

During this year's workshop there will be a special focus on the role of sleep in psychiatric disorders where also techniques such as actigraphy and sleep questionnaires will be presented to better understand and assess sleep in patients. Furthermore, the relation of sleep to QEEG findings and implications for treatment such as neurofeedback, rTMS and other psychological interventions will also be discussed.

We have invited Dr. Kerstin Hoedlmoser from the University of Salzburg (Austria) who is specialized in sleep and neurofeedback treatment for insomnia. Furthermore, we have invited Jay Gunkelman from Brain Science International (US) who is an internationally recognized expert on QEEG and EEG interpretation. Furthermore, Dr. Martijn Arns will present on the recent insights from chronobiology and circadian findings in ADHD and how neurofeedback is though to influence these networks. Furthermore, he will also present on the latest developments in EEG based personalized medicine
