Course - Stockholm, Sweden
The course will include state of the art international procedures and guidance regarding health risk assessment of combined exposures and of the sensitivity of early exposure during development. Present international regulatory strategies to assess the health risks related to these effects will be presented and the usefulness and limitations of these procedures will be discussed. Examples will be given on how risk assessment of combined exposure as well as early sensitivity is handled in different regulatory frameworks. Challenges for development of future risk assessment will be discussed.
The course is intended for PhD students and other participants from academia as well as participants from authorities and industry.
The course is organised by the Advanced International Training Programme in Health Risk Assessment at IMM in collaboration with the Doctoral programme Environmental Factors and Health (EFH) at Karolinska Institutet, course number 2378 and the Executive and Professional Education Office at Karolinska Institutet.
