New Frontiers in Synthetic Life

Conference - Nijmegen, Netherlands

Synthetic biology has gained much attention since Craig Venter and his team in 2010 made the historic announcement of the creation of first fully functioning, reproducing cell controlled by synthetic DNA. The 2013 NCMLS New Frontiers symposium – a joint venture between the Radboud University Medical & Science faculties – will feature international keynote speakers as well as NCMLS top researchers, who will provide high-quality presentations on current achievements and challenges ahead in our quest to understanding the chemistry and biology of life.
