Enhanced rare cell analysis – Visualize the invisible

Course - Cologne, Germany

Flow cytometry is a widely used method for cell analysis. It allows the acquisition of a large number of cells, resulting in statistically reliable analysis of cell populations. However, when the frequency of target cells is below 0.1%, the data becomes inaccurate. Immunomagnetic cell enrichment before flow cytometric measurement resolves this problem by increasing the frequency of target cells. This simple step allows for the visualization of such rare cell populations. The training covers this approach from introduction to trouble-shooting with theory and extensive hands-on practice in the laboratory.
