  • NIH 2011 Ranking: 147th (Direct plus indirect costs but excluding R & D contracts and ARRA awards) = $28,153,827 [1]
  • National Jewish Health participates in five-year, $56 Million Contract to Continue Study of Asthma in Inner-City Children. [2]
  • National Jewish Health was awarded a five-year, $31 million contract by the National Institutes of Health to lead a study of infections associated with eczema. Researchers will focus on antibiotic-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections and widespread viral infections of the skin. [3]
  • National Jewish Health is part of a Consortium for Food Allergy Research receiving renewed funding of $29.9 million over five years from the National Institutes of Health. [4]
  • National Jewish Health opened its Lung Cancer Center in 2010, utilizing its exceptional experience in thoracic medicine, interventional pulmonology and pathology, gastroenterology and otolaryngology. [5]
