Conference - Hinxton, Cambridge, United Kingdom
This new Wellcome Trust conference on Computational RNA Biology will bring together experimental and computational researchers to discuss the recent advances and developments in RNA biology.
In recent years there have been important advances in identifying and understanding non-coding RNAs. They are involved in many biological processes and are increasingly seen as important in disease. Computational approaches greatly assist our understanding of how to characterise and understand the biological functions of these molecules.
This meeting will cover all aspects of RNA biology with a focus on computational methods to elucidate structure, function and interactions of non-coding RNAs across species. We welcome abstracts from all areas relevant to non-coding RNA research. Several oral presentations will be chosen from the abstracts submitted
Topics will include:
- RNA biology and disease
- Long non-coding RNAs
- Small RNA regulation
- RNA structure from computation and experiment
- Interactions and systems
