Using Biomarkers to Predict Heart Failure and for Disease Management

The diagnosis and management of heart failure remains challenging despite many advances in recent decades. With a greater understanding of this complex syndrome, a large number of candidate biomarkers have emerged which could serve as an indicator of the presence, severity and possible therapeutic response of the heart failure syndrome. This event will look at the current research assessing the the use of biomarkers for detection and prognosis of heart failure.
